We took the kids geocaching in San Fransisco the other day and it was a blast. I had never been before and was amazed as the kids found locations and caches the GPS sent us to. Upon finding the location we then needed to search for the caches which wasn't that easy. One cache was under a tree stump that was hollowed out on the underside. I would have never thought of trying to look under the stump of a chopped down tree. We signed the various books and left little objects in place of the ones we took. If you have never tried it I recommend it. Because you are always hunting for the next cache the kids forget how far you are actually walking. I think we ended up walking for 3-4 hours.
